Mercedes to be represented in V8s

Mercedes-Benz will be represented in the V8 Supercars championship from next year following a deal between Stone Brothers Racing, Erebus Motorsport and AMG. Stone Brothers will merge with Australian GT squad Erebus Motorsport to run three AMG E Class cars during the 2013 season. The newly-formed team will operate under a Customer Sports Program of AMG, although it will be privately funded and have no official connection with Mercedes-Benz or AMG
