Huertas penalised for ignoring yellows

Carlos Huertas has been handed a five-place grid penalty for ignoring the yellow flags during Thursday's first qualifying session for the Macau Grand Prix. The Hitech Racing driver had set the fifth quickest time in qualifying, but he was deemed to have not reacted enough for the yellow flags that had been put out after Jazeman Jaafar crashed at R Bend. The Huertas penalty comes after seven other drivers were handed similar punishments for ignoring the yellow flags, which were displayed for the closing minutes of the session.
