Cassidy shines in T-Sport F3 test

Two-time New Zealand Toyota Racing Series champion Nick Cassidy shone on his test with Formula 3 European Championship team T-Sport at the Red Bull Ring last week. Several teams stayed on at the Austrian venue after the fifth round of the series, and Cassidy got his first run in the ThreeBond Nissan-powered Dallara recently vacated by Will Buller. According to estimates, 18-year-old Cassidy lapped three tenths of a second slower than the Carlin Dallara-Volkswagen of Harry Tincknell, who was fastest on the first day of the test.
