Caine joins Motorbase for Croft

Reigning British GT champion Michael Caine will give Motorbase's third NGTC Ford Focus its British Touring Car debut at Croft this weekend. Caine appeared in two BTCC rounds in 2011, driving a Motorbase-run S2000 Focus, before winning the British GT title with the squad last year, sharing a Porsche with Daniele Perfetti. Another GT campaign and budget issues have kept Caine from a full BTCC season this year, but the 42-year-old tested the new NGTC machine at Snetterton last month .
