Dorna: Schwantz couldn?t prove contract

Dorna has moved against Kevin Schwantz and claimed he was never able to prove he had a contract to promote a planned MotoGP race at the Circuit of the Americas. The former 500cc world champion filed a lawsuit against the Austin circuit , claiming that it had committed fraud in trying to disregard an agreement him to promote an annual race from 2013-2022. Dorna admitted its early dealings were conducted with Schwantz, under the belief that he possessed such an agreement in contractual form.
