Edwards denied permission to race
Colin Edwards has been denied medical clearance to take part in today's Catalunya Grand Prix. The Tech 3 Yamaha rider had hoped be might be allowed to take the start despite having only had a plate fitted to his broken collarbone in an operation in a Barcelona hospital yesterday. Edwards sustained the injury when he fell in Friday practice
