Melo warns of Porsche threat

Jaime Melo has warned of the threat posed by the Porsche teams in the Spa 1000km, despite the Brazilian putting his AF Corse Ferrari on pole position in the GTE Pro category. Melo took pole in the car he shares with Toni Vilander by more less than two tenths of a second, and headed an all-Ferrari top three with Rob Bell (JMW) and Giancarlo Fisichella (AF Corse) next up. The best of the Porsches was the Felbermayr car of Marc Lieb/Richard Lietz in fourth, while the next-best 997 RSR was the Patrick Pilet/Wolf Henzler car in eighth.
